My Three Cubs!

My Three Cubs!
When we found out I was Pregnant Dustin asked if we could name our child after the Chicago Cubs. I laughed! When Gracie was born Mark Grace was so fitting for her. Beautiful Gracie. Not to mention the night she was born Mark Grace had one heck of a ball game. 2 Years later we had our Son. I struggled on what to name him. Randy said use a "D" name,” D-Hall just like his Dad". Tommy suggested the name Dawson. I loved the name Dawson immediately! Dawson-Andre Dawson that is. 2 years went by and we had another baby girl. I was having a name dilema because I didn't want to be restricted to a baseball roster. I loved the name Marlie and Ryan, Dustin suggested Ryne Sandburg! And there you have it Marlie Ryne Hall. Our Three Cubs!

I hope as soon as I get this first Blog posted I wont be so overwhelemed with creating a Blog...I hope! A few months ago I was at my Sweet friend Angi Pettersons house. She shared some of her Mom's diary with me. It really moved me! I have not stoped thinking about how neat it was that her Mother took the time to keep a journal. So, for my kids and my family this is my way to journal for you.

Summer Fun!

It is the end of August, But we had so much FUN this summer I'm going to take some time to recap our Summer.

MAY

Memorial weekend is one of my favorite weekends in summer. It's the first holiday since New Years day and it says to me "Summer is Here" We decided to go camping at one of our favorite spots at Lakeside resort in Provo UT. I know, I know, its not Mountain Camping but with three small kids your ideal camping spot changes. We prioritize by Weather conditions, and amenities/recreation. Its a really fun spot nestled in tons of cottonwood trees just down the street from Utah lake entrance in Provo, UT.

The Pettersson & Fuchs family went with us. What a great time! All the kids took their bikes and were riding all around. Dawson has always loved his "Big Wheel Hot Wheel" But he started to ride his bike with all the other kids. By the first day his training wheels were off and he was cruising all around. Dustin and Paul went into Provo. Paul needed a new tube for Presley's bike because she hit a record of 9 flat tires in the 3 day span. Dustin came back with a "Big new Bike " for Dawson. Dawson was thrilled! They all rode around all weekend.

We also had several games of T-ball. It was so fun to watch all the boys including Dads playing together.

The Girls were playing school under the pavilion. There were these two desks that were under the pavilion, I'm not sure where they came from but Gracie was in heaven...She was the teacher and had Marlie, Atti and Presley as her students. At some point all the kids were in the pavilion painting rocks...having a great time!

We all got hot and decided it was warm enough for the kids to go swimming...It lasted a half hour and we decided it was too cold!

We also played on the playground, we all went for a walk up on the river walk (I didn't see a snake thank goodness!), we laughed a lot at the campfire, Paul made crapes one morning for breakfast. YUM!

We all went home on Monday...which was my Birthday 32! What a fun Birthday weekend!
