My Three Cubs!

My Three Cubs!
When we found out I was Pregnant Dustin asked if we could name our child after the Chicago Cubs. I laughed! When Gracie was born Mark Grace was so fitting for her. Beautiful Gracie. Not to mention the night she was born Mark Grace had one heck of a ball game. 2 Years later we had our Son. I struggled on what to name him. Randy said use a "D" name,” D-Hall just like his Dad". Tommy suggested the name Dawson. I loved the name Dawson immediately! Dawson-Andre Dawson that is. 2 years went by and we had another baby girl. I was having a name dilema because I didn't want to be restricted to a baseball roster. I loved the name Marlie and Ryan, Dustin suggested Ryne Sandburg! And there you have it Marlie Ryne Hall. Our Three Cubs!

I hope as soon as I get this first Blog posted I wont be so overwhelemed with creating a Blog...I hope! A few months ago I was at my Sweet friend Angi Pettersons house. She shared some of her Mom's diary with me. It really moved me! I have not stoped thinking about how neat it was that her Mother took the time to keep a journal. So, for my kids and my family this is my way to journal for you.

Marlie...Singing in the Rain!

The other day when we had that huge rain storm Marlie ran and got her Umbrella and was so excited to go out in the rain. At first I said No...Then when I saw the look on her face I changed my mind. I'm glad I let her because she has been waiting for a rain Storm since her Birthday. Literally waiting to use her rain coat and umbrella since August.
SINGING IN THE RAIN!

SHE GOT BRAVE AND DECIDED TO GO MARCH UP AND DOWN THE SIDEWALK IN THE POURING RAIN.

Dawson, The Sweetest kid on earth!

DAWSON AT PLAY GROUP
We were at play group this week and Dawson was playing so cute with all the the kids. There are two really cute girls on our street Anna Liddell and Claire Searle...both of the girls have older sisters that play with Gracie.

They were talking...

And playing hide and seek.... The girls didn't want to count much so Dawson did most of the counting.

Then they came up with this game where they each had a jump rope and they were pulling Dawson around on the gym floor. Dawson's shirt was filthy!

Play group is really fun. All the kids take their bikes, scooters, jump ropes, hula hoops etc. and they run around the gym and play. We sit and visit with each other.

Gracie asked Dawson one night at dinner who he was going to pick to be his girl friend. She told him that Anna and Clair want to be his girl friend. He sat there with a cute embarrassed smile on his face and then he said "WHO DO YOU THINK WOULD GO TO THE UTAH FOOTBALL GAMES WITH ME?" (because both of their Dad's are Y fans)

Here are the 3 older sisters Ivie Searle, Gracie & Abby Liddell.

They were using a jump rope to sling shot each other across the room on a scooter...

Here is a picture of Bo Searle, I had to post it because he's so cute. Bo walks around saying "Dawson!"

Gracie's Reflections

Gracie wanted to work on a Reflections project. She was very admit about it. I had forgotten for awhile but then Gracie reminded me when we were at the Lake in St George. The theme was WOW (Not sure what type of a theme that is...) Gracie said you can do pictures, music, paint what ever you want. She loves to paint and play with paper so she decided to do a picture of her at the lake. She used real sand & Sea Shells from Bear Lake. The clouds are cotton balls. She still wanted to use pictures so we used a picture of her at the Lake. I am very proud of her. She did a great job.

This is a zoomed in picture so you can see the sand and shells.

Marlie

Marlie! She is this little body bursting with energy! She has an opinion about everything and wants to be the decision maker about everything! Her new thing is slamming the Door. She gets mad about something, runs to her room and slams the door...Then this is the best part...
SHE OPENS UP THE DOOR AND YELLS "YOU HEAR'D THAT, I SLAM MY DOOR" SLAM!
Yes the sign on her door says No Boys Allowed, except daddy.

Whitchapalooza

My sweet Mom took all the Girls to Witchapalooza at Gardiner Village.

Gracie is off Track...

Gracie off track and she can't stand to sit still. She is always asking for a friend or wants a project... Dawson was at Rushton's house and Gracie had called a few friends to play... no one was home and she was BOARD!
I thought I would let her try to make Cupcakes.

Marlie wanted in, luckily Gracie was in a good mood and was willing to let Marlie help.

Of course we were out of Eggs! The girls ran up to the neighbors to get a couple eggs.

Gracie did the whole project by herself! The cupcakes turned out great!

Won't it be great when she is old enough to cook dinner?!
