My Three Cubs!

My Three Cubs!
When we found out I was Pregnant Dustin asked if we could name our child after the Chicago Cubs. I laughed! When Gracie was born Mark Grace was so fitting for her. Beautiful Gracie. Not to mention the night she was born Mark Grace had one heck of a ball game. 2 Years later we had our Son. I struggled on what to name him. Randy said use a "D" name,” D-Hall just like his Dad". Tommy suggested the name Dawson. I loved the name Dawson immediately! Dawson-Andre Dawson that is. 2 years went by and we had another baby girl. I was having a name dilema because I didn't want to be restricted to a baseball roster. I loved the name Marlie and Ryan, Dustin suggested Ryne Sandburg! And there you have it Marlie Ryne Hall. Our Three Cubs!

I hope as soon as I get this first Blog posted I wont be so overwhelemed with creating a Blog...I hope! A few months ago I was at my Sweet friend Angi Pettersons house. She shared some of her Mom's diary with me. It really moved me! I have not stoped thinking about how neat it was that her Mother took the time to keep a journal. So, for my kids and my family this is my way to journal for you.

Fall Is Here...

We were at the Park last week. I try to have a Pic-nic lunch at least once a week. Dawson and Marlie take a stack of books and we play and read. I try to get Dawson's reading done before Kindergarten so this way when Gracie gets home I can read at night with her.

ANYWAY... There was a tree behind us and Marlie said "Look Mom, the leaves are falling...That means it's fall!"

I had my cell phone with me and my friend Kim taught me how to e-mail the pics. So I took a picture...

Then I took a picture of the two crazies! I had to give Dawson 11 underdogs because he took 11 bites of his lunch. Posting this stuff makes me feel bad not having Gracie here...she's in school.

After we took Dawson to school, me and Marlie went to Jordan Landing to do some errands. I stopped in at Kiddie Kandid to pick up some pictures. Marlie could Smell the Pop- Corn...So we bought a bag and sat on the steps and ate it. It was fun and Yummy! I Love Movie Theatre Pop Corn!

PS - This is another cell phone picture...Thanks Kim for teaching me how to use my camera phone.

What a fun day. Picnics are the best. It makes me sad too when I'm having fun with my boys and Madi's at school. Some things are better left unsaid...right? Great reading plan. I should start doing it that way too.

Gracie, I think Mom should make it up to you with a picnic and popcorn when you are out of school next week. You are so cute and doing so well in school! I love you Grandma Connie
